England are in the World Cup semi-final tonight, I am on the train to Doncaster writing this and hopefully should be back in time to see it all. It's been an incredible summer of football, the tournament has been brilliant, so unpredictable with the big teams missing out (Germany didn't even get out of their group!) and it's been enjoyable.
So it means we've been up to the White Hart a lot to watch the England matches, that's a tough one to take really because there are always going to be a couple of pricks that have no idea what they're talking about, and for some reason they stand next to me!! Drives me nuts. But it's slowly got busier and tonight will be mad I reckon. England are against Croatia, I think it's very close indeed, both teams will fancy their chances of making it to the final. As could be expected, the mood and enthusiasm around the country is completely overkill but everyone is so excited by it. It does bring back memories of 1990 in Italy when we lost on penalties in the semi-final, I really hope we can make it.
However, a VERY strong France side are waiting the winners of tonight's match, and they look formidable.
Anyway, it's been a good and enjoyable tournament whatever the team achieve tonight…
