Jack playing men’s football

Jack has been playing football for Old Woodstock the last two weeks in the men’s league. Only friendlies and I was concerned for his safety in respect of it being that much more physical but both games have been fine and he’s coped really well. He’s confident and talkative and you can tell he thinks he’s good enough to be there, it’s funny hearing him telling the men what to do or encouraging them etc. The manager and the players seem keen for him to sign on but it will clash with his Saturday JPL commitments so he’s not going overboard in terms of being excited about it. I will let him sign on and see how things pan out.

Talking of JPL – unfortunately Tom Griffiths has dropped out and it’s likely other players will as well – can’t blame them, the cost of £400.00 for a year is madness
