Jack Football Week Training

Took Jack and his x2 mates (Awadh and David) to Nottingham University to arrive at 5.30pm after a couple of hours drive. Jack has been very excited about it all day and it was a bit intimidating when we arrived as there were loads of lads all very serious and focussed, Jack looked so small compared to them all I must admit. We registered, got their room keys, checked out his room and dumped the luggage and I then left them to it. Journey home was fine.

I texted him later in the evening and he said all was fine, food was okay and tomorrow he would find out more about his team he's involved with etc, Natasha said she'd had more contact with him when she came in from her drinks night out.

It's hard to know how he'll fare, I am sure he's capable to hold his own and hopefully he will impress. More importantly, perhaps, it will focus his mind on things progressing in terms of his plans as a player or being involved in sport in some capacity such as physio or psychology because the evening seminars sound interesting as well.

Got home bang on 8.00pm and even after telling myself during the car journey I would focus on this, that and the other for my fitness Lewis and I just crashed on the sofa and watch the film called 'Dragon' - this including the main actor from Ip Man which is one of my favourite martial arts films I think. This Dragon film was very good as well, really enjoyed it but sometimes a little hard to follow as it jumped about. Bed at 10.30pm - early start tomorrow!

Happy New Year

Woke up without any sort of hangover around 9.00am and just pottered around the bedroom sorting out the clothes etc until time to meet for breakfast around 11.00am. Everyone was down and once finished went our separate ways, us coming straight home, Holdens and Carrolls both going for seaside walks.

Drive home was uneventful and once home unpacked and all that.

Didn't do much else, we're both not feeling too good but took the decorations down and Claire brought Bess back safe and sound. She'd had a nice time but was also pleased to see us.

Round to Sue's for dinner and then home watching films in the evening

Bit of a nothing start to the New Year but let's see how this one pans out shall we?

Life goes on

So I've been bleeding each time I've gone to toilet for x5 days now so decided to go to the doctors to take a look. Obviously I've thought the worse but they couldn't confirm either way.

They checked and now I've got a prescription so will see what happens over the next few days and whether I need further tests.

Tash was in such a fucking stupid mood and sulking about everything and being so argumentative as she wasn't feeling well either and needed antibiotics.

So she's moaning at me and I replied that it was good she was interested in what the doctors said and her reply will stick with me for a very long time indeed:

"Whatever it is, life goes on!"

Whilst I'm not trying to be overly dramatic that really pissed me off. So I walked out and saw Great Grandma, got my prescription and read in the kidlington library and then went down the Botley road...anything to avoid returning home.

I can't say anything more.
